Realistically....what can we get for AB?

What logical incentive would there be for the FO to discuss openly about their knowledge or experience (negative) behavior with AB.
If they are exploring all options for the future and the team, taking their business outside the house may possibly interfere with their plans to offload him to another team with future trade compensations.Comment

We traded that 5th round pick to Arizona for Bryant McFadden and a 6th round pick.
We used that 6th round pick to draft.......Antonio Brown.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.Comment

The Jets should give us 2 1sts as a thank you and take AB off our hands.sigpicComment

But Ruth, when we call the Jets now, they look at the caller I.D. and won't pick up the phone. LMFAO!!!Comment

speaking of the jets as partners, intresting read here:
https://steelerswire.usatoday.com/2019/01/07/antonio-browns-former-teammate-says-steelers-wr-wouldnt-fit-on-the-jets/
Antonio Brown and Willie Colon were teammates on the Pittsburgh Steelers for three seasons. Colon also played for the New York Jets for three years after leaving Pittsburgh. So when Colon was asked (https://www.sny.tv/jets/news/watch-snys-willie-colon-explains-why-antonio-brown-wouldnt-mesh-with-jets/302364294) about how Brown would fit on the Jets, he was very clear in saying he doesn’t think Antonio would be a good fit in New York’s locker room.
“Not at all,” Colon said. “(Sam Darnold) wouldn’t know how to handle Antonio Brown if he’s not getting the ball in the first half. I remember Antonio Brown when he showed up to the Pittsburgh Steelers with a garbage bag, an ‘Even Steven’ haircut, and he was just built on being the best player he can be.
“Now he’s turned into this somewhat of a prima donna.”
The last thing a young quarterback like Darnold needs is a guy like Brown – for all his talent – to create doubt in a young player because he doesn’t think he is getting the ball enough. One of the reasons Brown has been so successful is because he’s always had a strong personality like Ben Roethlisberger to help balance him out.
It isn’t clear if the Steelers are going to trade Brown or not. But how this plays out will tell a lot about how much teams are willing to trade continuity and potential drama for talent.

I still think, Oakland is the key. Trade AB and our 20 for their 4th and 28th pick in the first round.
If we do this we can keep trading down and up to get our guys.
LB- D WHITE and CB-D.BAKER or S-D. THOMAS in the first round.
Oakland gets a true WR for Carr and still will have 2 picks in the first round our 20th and 25th.

If we were going to try and trade him, why let anything negative out there because it only potentially diminishes what we'd get in terms of trade value.
We're a funny bunch. On the one hand, we want 2 1st round draft picks for what we think is a piece of garbage. How does that seem like a fair trade for anyone?sigpicComment

Here's hoping that some team is desperate enough to give us more than he's really worth though.Comment
