The fumbles were the problem not Tomlin, I liked the fake punt call, it just wasn't blocked well. The initial hole was there but Nix was hit shortly after he crossed the LOS. They were playing to win the game with the offense, I don't really have a problem with that.

I'm an the one who have criticism of Tomlin, but I actually like the call. It give the ball to Ben last..... This is clearly on the refs first, fumbles second and Butler last. How in the world you play a zone defense on 3rd and 20 when that situation have killed you all year. If there's one coaching change Butler have to go followed by Porter.

I do see your point, and think it factored in the decision. He had zero confidence in the defense stopping Brees from scoring while leaving zero time for Ben if they punted.

I just think he was wrong in that assessment. Considering NO needed a TD, I think odds were against marching down the length of the field to score a touchdown.

The officials spotted the Saint the first score. But we lost because of the turnovers. Ridley is a punk. He needs to go. Juju learned a valuable lesson. Hopefully we get another chance. Hopefully he gets to make up for it this season yet.
I was telling my relatives who were watching with me that if we win, this is a Super Bowl preview. If the Saints really are that everyone thinks they are then we are definitely are good enough to win #7. Sucks that we may not have a chance to prove it.

Your not stopping Brees on that last possession with the refs help. Point blank. I actually think this was his better coached games this year. I got Steeler haters calling me and telling me about the refs robbing us, it wasn't going to change their last possession.

Yup, the Steelers, unfortunately, put themselves in this position by failing to finish off 3 teams that they should beat by 14 points or more. The defense is playing better, the past two weeks against very good offenses gives me hope for them moving forward, this year or next. I really think this team could win #7 this year but won't get the chance.
