Sometimes you get a perfect storm. An amazing dominating performance to be sure. Lots of football left and I suspect we will need a few more games like this if we want to go deep in January. Really fun to see the performance tonight live up to the potential of this team. Wooooo!!!
Like many of us, I've seen every Steeler game since 1989 (yay satellite!!). That may have been the most dominating victory of all of them...against a quality opponent no less. The Sunday night game against the Ravens a decade ago also stands out in my mind. I have a suspect memory, so someone please remind us if there has been a more dominating effort.
"Wow" sums it up perfectly. I didn't see this coming.
This team is capable of beating ANYONE. The talent is there.
Juju and Connor are my favorite players in a LONG time. All heart. Love, love love these guys. That's the kind of heart that gels a team and wins championships.
Just wow like the OP said....This is the Steeler Team I have been waiting on.....
I love the play calling
The aggressive plays
execution was perfect except for Burns coming in...this guys doesn't know how to cover a wide receiver .....
spread the action around to the players
Great OL ...what a great job.....
Great Job Steelers!!!!!
Please keep doing this in the coming
Dupree was a monster last night! Is it possible that he's finally coming in to his own or is this a fluke performance? He's played better as the season gone on.

this is correct. for whatever reason - bud is starting to be a wrecking machine. in a results business - he's been delivering for several weeks now.
if I'm the steelers there's no way i want bell to come back and possibly upset what they have going right now
I agree with the first sentence.
I think Conner's injury (even though I think holding him out was at least somewhat precuationary) highlights the fact that having another great RB would be a good thing.

Dupree and Watt where everywhere! Watt an absolute terror to Newton! Watt put his helmet into Cam's shoulder (luckily it wasn't flagged) and Cam was holding his arm in the huddle and winching all night after that. Why they kept Cam in there so late was a mystery to me.

I thought the same thing and then I liked what we got from Ridley and Samuels. Especially Samuels.
My only possible concern, though, is possibly peaking too early.
The team literally cannot play a better game than it did last night.
If we were playing the Broncos or Raiders next week, I would have been worried about a potential letdown performance from a team possibly a little bit full of themselves after manhandling a quality opponent in every respect.
Luckily, though, we to travel to Jacksonville next week to face off against the Jagoffs, and after our experience with them last year, we owe them a serious beatdown that essentially would eliminate them from playoff contention this year entirely.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
