Yeah, of course, it's not all Bell. My comment on "it's not all Bell" was not meant to be taken literally. But Bell was having everyone believe that he's worth being paid for 2 positions. What happened when he wasn't here? We got the same or better production out of Connor. That either means that rookie Connor is just as good as Bell thinks Bell is. OR we happen to have an O-line that makes a good back, great. Either way, it shows that Bell wasn't the key to the run game.

There are a lot of guys who, if you take them away, the team gets worse. Look what happened to us with Shazier. Bell is not as irreplaceable as he thought.

If you don't agree that Connor's success has hurt Bell's value, I think you're fairly alone in that assessment.

Then it started to slowly turn until now it is almost to a point where Bell news is barely noteworthy and most of the talk is about how he screwed himself and the team doesn't want or need him back. Been an interesting two months since the season started.
I did assume that the O would be OK with Bell and get better when he came back.

But, I've always felt that the keys to this season will be (1) will the D be at least average and (2) will Ben play well enough to overcome a (hopefully) average D. I think that so far we're looking pretty good on both these items (although I would prefer to see more evidence that Ben can still punish teams by throwing the ball deep).

I think the two biggest stories so far are (1) Conner being awesome and (2) the D being pretty good.

No it hasn't hurt Bell's value, teams that were looking to sign him in free agency are still going to be looking to sign him, they aren't suddenly going to back off because James Conner is good too. Bell is an Elite Back and the market has been set for elite backs, he doesn't suddenly not become elite just because another good back replaced him.

Bell was an elite back on the Steelers, thats what Conners performance so far has proven.
No one knows what Bell is on any other team.

It's not that difficult. A team's GM will argue reasons why Bell is not worth what he is asking for, while Bell's agent will argue why he is worth what he wants to get.

Two of the 4 top RBs are 3rd rd draft picks. Total rushing yds by those top 4 RBs are up 10% over last season.

Le’Veon Bell “not apologizing for what I believe is right”

                Well, this is different.

Le'Veon Bell posted two tweets back-to-back written upside down.

The first reads: “Just about everybody has an opinion on my life & worried about what I’m doing. Don’t judge me off my decisions because maybe this isn’t what you’d do. But most people don’t take the the time to just simply read between the lines & that’s clearly on them.”

The second reads: “I’m not apologizing for what I believe is right for myself, family, and the rest of my peers, period. Also if you’re really finding the time to figure out what I’m saying, you’ve proved my point.”

So are we supposed to “just simply read between the lines” or are we not supposed to take “the time to figure out what” he’s saying? Or does it really not matter what he says at this point?

Bell has until Tuesday to show up and sign his franchise tender. Otherwise, he can’t play for the Steelers or anyone else in 2018.

He is back in Pittsburgh though not with the Steelers.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Based on what he just tweeted, it make take a few weeks for the drugs to clear his system. Not the most lucid thinking going on.

It seems the "It's just business" camp is falling by the wayside lol. At this point it appears that Bell is actively trying to figure out ways to squander away his fortune. This dude will be broke by the time he's 40.

If he only tweeted to "read between the apostrophe", we all would have understood.

One day kids will study his lyrics and he will be revered more than Shakespeare.

Le'Veon is like a religion. There's no logic to any of this garbage. Le'Veon requires blind faith.
