    Cowherd Rips Bell's Agent

On national radio show today. Bell's agent:

    1) failed to foresee possible emergence of his replacement on the Steelers roster (Conner)

    2) failed to understand the market and the number of good running backs coming out of the college ranks in the last year

    3) failed to understand the system in Pittsburgh was built for him to excel in

said he likely cost Bell millions...

If I remember correctly Bell's agent told him to sign the Steelers offer last year and Bell changed his mind right before he was supposed to sign. I think it is Bell calling the shots and his agent just going for the ride now. His percentage of what Bell ultimately signs for still won't be chump change.
As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.

    but Go Steelers!!!

I don't think his agent was driving the bus, but I won't be surprised if he takes the fall

I don't understand why James Conner being good hurts Bell in free agency? If finding a James Conner, Bell, or Gurley was so easy in the draft why doesn't every team have one and if every team doesn't have one why don't they just the magic scheme that creates them?

It all starts up front, and we have one of the best O-Lines in the league (not to mention the best O-Line coach).

Because it helps to prove that Bell's success wasn't all Bell. We have a special offensive line that's making it possible for any good running back to have success.

If Connor wasn't being this productive (MORE productive than Bell in some ways), many would be saying that Bell is what made the running game go and maybe he's worth what he says he's worth.

yup, plus we also have a great qb and the best wr duo in the league to take pressure off our rbs

This is all Bell. Not the agents fault

Steals of the draft, all of them, I tell you!!!
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Of course its not all Bell, name one guy on any team that "it's all him" if that was the criteria for getting paid, nobody would get paid.

Amazing how the narrative has changed through the season. Before the season started it was all about hoping the team could somehow survive until the savior returns. Then it started to slowly turn until now it is almost to a point where Bell news is barely noteworthy and most of the talk is about how he screwed himself and the team doesn't want or need him back. Been an interesting two months since the season started.
