    1. Bell will not get a contract as good as Gurley’s contract. Meaning that Bell’s annual salary will not be as high as Gurley’s.

    2. The contract that Bell does sign with his new team will be less then the 14mil a year deal we offered him in 2017. Thus , his feeble attempt for the last year will be determined to be a failure.

    3. One particular poster will look even more foolish for his never ending man crush for Bell causing even more people to put him on ignore then he already is.
The "Ignore" feature is a beautiful thing... as it pertains to one's quality of life on a forum such as this!

We are averaging close to 100 yards on the ground (Team rushing) despite being in the bottom 8 or 9 in the league in number of rushes this year (70) and ranked 23rd in team rushing. It would be nice if we could start games out a little stronger and work on establishing some more balance. Keep in mind we were a more "Run heavy" team last year and only finished 20th in team rushing. Point being, Conner is doing very well despite limited touches the last 2 weeks, and mixing in a little Ridley every now and again has been a nice addition. We are getting very solid production per the investment at RB... and I believe our record would be no different right now if we had LB as the starter for the 1st 3 weeks.

In pretty sure his next suspension is only 4 games because of his appeal last time...he missed a test instead of failing it.

Facts don’t matter to that dude. He knows this but he keeps repeating it because it sounds better than the truth.

            What areas?

Who are are we going to get that won’t be hurt in a few games?

We aren’t getting a Mack type player on defense. Any player we get in FA that carries a high dollar cap hit is more prone to injury or they wouldn’t be available to begin with.

As we have recently seen, a good QB or good OC is going to exploit the best defenses. We are seeing how great offense trumps great defense the majority of the time.

It’s not uncommon to see a QB throw for 4TD’s, 400 yards and LOSE in todays NFL.

Cousins just threw for 400 yards and lost. Vikings and Rams are supposed to have great defenses and there was 1,000 yards of offense.

The Mack Deal has everything to do with this, they aren't going to get two first round picks for Bell but they are looking at it saying we could certainly get more than comp pick. As far as the rest of your comments about "doing it right" it's nonsense he hasn't done anything wrong, he is operating within the rules of the franchise tag that the Steelers put on him. Bell did what he was supposed to do he outplayed his rookie deal by a long shot then he has to play on the franchise tag getting beat to hell without a long term contract guaranteeing him the money he wants. If the Steelers truly believed they were going to give him the best offer why put exclusive franchise tag on him? The Steelrs could of put the non-exclusive tag him, let him listen to offers, and if there was something they couldn't match the Steelers would've been compensated accordingly. Please stop projecting your fan outrage onto NFL teams, teams are going to be looking to sign Bell to a big deal during free agency you are just going to have to get over it.

                Mr. Wizard..

Please re-read what I said. I never said he wasn’t going to get a deal. But he will not get a deal equal to Gurley’s. There is no “ outrage” either; I’m as calm as can be because I called this months ago.

I read what you wrote, my post stands, why would I care what prediction you made moths ago? Your basing your prediction on your own outrage over the way Bell has handled the contract situation and then telling us that NFL teams are going to feel the same way. There is absolutely no evidence that holding out or hitting free agency results in getting less money, they are actually the 2 proven methods for players looking to improve their financial situation.

Eagles are still interested. I heard we are trying to inquire about a trade involving Earl Thomas.

Not it sure why a certain person keeps padding themselves on the back when they predicted the tag would be rescinded and not that Bell would be traded.

Nothing has been finalized yet SM claims he is right? Who does that?

Bell is older than Gurley and has an injury and suspension history. And he is unprofessional. Gurley is the better RB.

Bell won't get paid as much as Gurley

And for the record, Mack's situation isn't even remotely relevant to Bell.
Tomlin: Let's unleash hell and "mop the floor" with the competition.

I love how it’s gone from “the RB market isn’t undervalued” to “I bet he won’t get a deal as good as Gurley”

lmao... you guys have been wrong when it comes to the numbers for the last 2 or 3 years regarding Bell.

He is going to get paid big money and you can’t do anything about it.

Just sucks we couldn’t get it done with our contract offer.

not one person has stated he won't get a big contract, just the wisdom of giving that big a contract to a RB has been the debate

it's been funny watching you get so emotional and respond to seemingly every single bell post the last year and a half

that is what lmao should stand fot
