O-I-I is not out of it. Nobody else has everything locked in, hell they could be peaking out the gate, for all anyone knows. Get positive and think that we can only get better and screw the fire, replace, burn down the facilities mantra. Have at me,
I'll watch all the games but it's become a tough run for Pittsburgh fans lately.

The Pirates have gone back to crap after giving us glimmers of hope. The only Pitt game I got to see so far this year was barely watchable as they got trounced by Pedophile State. The Pens lose to the Capitals in the playoffs (WTF?). And now the Steelers seem like they are the same path of sucking like the rest of Pittsburgh sports lately.

I think I'm ready for hockey, but now that the Caps beat us and won a cup, I have this feeling they could be ready to dominate hockey for the next couple seasons now that they have the bugaboo off their backs.

Whatever, I'll keep watching and hoping for the best, but in my heart of hearts, I know what we've got.

It's the defense that's making a lot of us feel this way. They said it was MM last year; well MM is gone and still it's terrible safety play. Not to mention the corner play. And terrible tackling.

They said it was Haley; okay Haley's gone and still their throwing give up bubble screens and offense starting slow with Ben & AB not quit being on the same page.

Hey, things could be worse -- we could be Bills-level bad. Things are so bad with that team that CB Vontae Davis just quit and went home at halftime of yesterday's game.

I have a feeling we'd make Josh Allen look like the next coming of Joe Montana

Lucky for us we don't play them.

Like I said last week - no one in this organization seems to have any concern about job security. The coaches are comfortable and the players are comfortable. Vance McDonald hits a guy with two hands so blatantly in the back you could see it from row zz up in section 520. Killed a big play. But no worries. It was a good effort.

This team needs a healthy dose of not only ‘do your job’ but ‘do your job or you’re sitting down’.

Yes. The overpaid janitor should have been fired last year along with Butler and Porter.

I don't know why anyone is surprised by these results or lack thereof.

Rinse and repeat on all these issues that Coach Cliche keeps saying will be addressed.

The only one responsible for the product between the lines is Mike T. You guys can sugar coat & finger point in any direction..It starts & ends with the HC.

Funny thing is if the Steelers go into the bye 4-1-1 all the Tomlin supporters will say what a great head coach he is. But if they go into the bye 0-5-1, 1-4-1, 2-3-1.....Crickets.

Heres your test. Steelers are in Quick Sand. What happens over the next 4 weeks will tell you who Mike Tomlin is. IS he a cheer leading politician or a head football coach.

I think it's tough to evaluate a coach without looking at the talent too.

Our D is bad. Losing a star player in his prime kills a team. Not sure how you recover when your already at the cap.

I wanted to not tag Bell and get help on D, but tagging him was reasonable.

I think the guys we picked up were good signings, but not near Shazier’s level.

Hopefully this is the D figuring itself out after some turnover and they can right the ship.

If we're terrible this year, do you include Ben in your list of firings?

At the same time, maybe the other side of the argument will realize that the Steelers aren't a super talented team outside of 3 guys (one of whom is holding out)

The D might not be top 10 in talent. But is there anyone that believes that the Patriots* coaching staff wouldn't get more out of this group than we have?

Our D played like a Top 10 D last week...there were A LOT of turnovers, but not a lot of points off of them...

This week, we did play like the Pats**
