Why was our #1 OLB T.J. Watt playing special teams?
To block the final FG attempt.
With Ola Adeniyi on I.R. and Keion Adams and Farrington Huguenin on the practice squad now, OLB is a thinner position for us on our 53 man roster right now (Watt, Dupree, Chickillo) than CB (Haden, Burns, Hilton, Sutton, Sensabaugh)...Brian Allen on P.S.Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.Comment

Remember the WEEK 1 scare last year with TUITT - hope this isn't anything that nags him all season.

Haden has a grade one strain. That's the mildest strain. Hope he can play and play effectively because Hill is beast.Comment

My guess is if we have good weather this weekend at Heinz Field, Haden suits up and plays.
