He's definitely done being the wild kid roaming the streets for new booty

I'm just not sure he is being a team guy because he's all about the team. I think these comments are a direct result of the FO calling his retirement bluff.

and if this gets us another SB or a more energized Ben I'm all for it. I think he does a Favre (on the field, not off) and balls out (pun intended) for another 3 to 4 years.

Screaming A Smith said he wouldn't trust Ben moving forward and would give him one year contracts due to his retirement talk. I think that's a bad idea unless he takes a hometown discount. Work out a 3 year deal this year or next year that's friendly to both sides for one last run. There is no way Ben gives up the keys to the Lambo now that we have some nitro in the name of Washington, JuJu, AB, Bell, etc...

I bet Ben never takes a Wed off again...lol

Ben probably wont receive another contract from the Steelers if Rudolph lives up to what the organization envisioned.

        A 3rd round value pick?

Does it matter as long as he pans out to be a starting QB? Brady was a 6th round pick. Did it matter in the big picture of things? No.

I guess my point was that we don't know what the Steelers envisioned. They didn't really expect to get a QB, but found a value pick in the 3rd.

The reason he was a value pick is because the Steelers envision him to be a legitimate starter and franchise QB...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

The Steelers were absolutely brilliant in getting Rudolph and how they got him. Nothing but good has come out of this signing. I know this has been said before, but it's so ironic that Ben wondered out loud how Rudolph would help the team win now, when that's exactly what's happening, with the way Ben has been reacting.

I agree. I believe the signing of Rudolph will bring out the competitor in Ben. I can see him having a record year.

uh oh.. please take this prediction back.

These are the type of predictions that result in the exact opposite happening.

Now I'm concerned Ben is going to press, look over his shoulder and go on the prowl during the bye week

Mahommes brought out the best in Alex Smith.

Andy Reid brought out the best in Alex Smith.. but then Andy Reid did was he always does in the playoffs and forgot he had a running back.

Still think this was another game the refs impacted because KC matched up well with the Pats. Some sketchy calls in this game.

                          You referring to 2015?

Oh - I thought you were referring to a playoff game against the Pats*. You meant that the NFL didn't want it to get that far.

I don't know about these conspiracy theories. But I guess anything is possible.

KC beat the breaks off the Pats first game of the year. I definitely think KC had a good chance to knock off the Pats if they met again.

A ref announced his retirement right after the KC/Titans game... it was that bad IMO.
