That’s funny coming from the site who spends more time ripping the Steelers than cheering for them.

I’m just arguing contract numbers and RB value.

I knew the market wasn’t devalued and I’m back to laugh at people who swore he wouldn’t get this much guaranteed money.

Now where is the guy who sai Bell wouldn’t get more than 10 mill guaranteed? I think that was Steelhere.

      You guys are killing me.
It's a good contract. But not what Bell was expecting. Not all that better than what the Steelers offered. More guaranteed in the 1st year. Less overall per year.

One other reason Bell might have turned the deal down is because it apparently wasn't loaded with any substantial guarantees. The contract included $33 million in guaranteed money, which was going to be paid out over the first two years. "

I can live with being wrong about it by a few mill in guaranteed money.
it was more than that bro.. he was gonna get a better contract than gurley... remember? lol. weve got about 1000 of your post in 6 different bell threads we can pull up if we need to refresh your memory

We offered Bell 14 mil a year in 2017; that’s a million more then the open market just gave him. Colbert tried to take care of his own guys.

yea... and those facts are unavoidable. thats really where the argument begins and ends

he wanted a chance to "Test" the open market... and i think some folks were surprised at the outcome.

If only he guaranteed money is legit then he made the right move.

I have no problem admitting I was wrong about him getting more guaranteed money than Gurley.

Can you admit the RB position wasn’t devalued like you thought?

Didn’t you say he wouldn’t get 30 mill in guaranteed money? Can you admit you were wrong?

                  I bet you can’t.

lol.. i dont figure bell will get another legit contract offer. unlike he would likely have if he had signed in 2017.. could have had 2 bigtime contracts.

The running back position has been devalued dude. Everybody who knows football knows that. And if Bell would have waited after the draft, he’d have gotten less

What a fool, what a tool. I'm sure in Bell's pea-brain he can convince himself this is a win, but that's because basic algebra is not within his grasp. And his few supporters on here appear to have similar IQs, or at least the same dealer he does.

I will enjoy watching his career flounder on the Jets. The Jets, ffs! He signed a lesser deal, and it's with the dog-Jets. And, for their part, the Jets will look back three years from now, and wish Bell had gone back to the Steelers, cup in hand. Bell will NEVER perform like 2016 again.

i heard most of his offers came in at about 10 or 11 milion a year.. if there were a pile of teams willing to "Back up the brinks truck"... bell would not have signed this deal so early in FA. He realized his pipedream contract was just that..

my god...going to the Jets for less than we offered....he struck out big time....not only was the Steelers contract generous but, lets not forget he is injury prone and was suspended for
substance abuse for 4 games!!!!! the next time with the Jets he will probably be suspended the whole season.......

After holding out for a year, you do have to wonder why he was now in such a hurry.
