Is this Jets O Line really bottom of the league?

How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?Comment

Bell lost money and value with his decisions. The Bell-washers have to resort to engaging in an amorphous mix of ignoring facts and disputing clear probabilities to declare that his hold out was a victory. Both Bell and the Jets lost. It was, and continues to be, a lose-lose situation. As perennially idiotic as the Jets are, even they realize it now. Bell will never be bright enough to realize that he blew it. But he did.
Bell will face Divine justice on the football field today. Final score: America/god/Steelers 1, Bell -0.
Bell was in a win-win situation from a financial perspective though. Simply because he was going to get paid a lot of money regardless of the decision he made. That's one reason why he was able to take such a risk.
The Jets had the money to sign him. Can't fault the Jets for attempting to make their team better.Comment

I suppose the Bell revenge is being on the team that beat his former team, and knocked them out of the playoffs. But 25 for 72 for 2.9 yard/carry is pretty much a typical day for him this entire year. He looked laughable trying to turn on the "speed" going outside - he's lost more than a step. He's slower than Andy Russell. I think the odds are pretty good that he isn't playing in the NFL more than another year. Who would pay for this?Comment

Wasn't too far off in my predictions ... he ended up 25/72 rushing and 4/21 receiving. Always surprised that Gase and the Jets don't use him a little more as a receiver than they do.Comment

looks like another +/- 3 yards per touch effort from Bell. Ill be surprised if hes not on the trading block this off season.Comment

Lot of young runningbacks coming out. I could see the jets taking the cap hit and just moving on from him. And then I could see him trying to drag his tail back to us too.Comment
