Yup! They benched one of their best players and lost...

If it was because he couldn’t practice, that’s one thing...but, if it was Belicheat being a “disciplinarian”, and Nick Foles drops 370 and 3 TDS (and catches 1!!) on you, that is what the kids call an epic fail...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Wonder if the Pats "pseudo-fans" will be screaming to fire Belichek. Seems like he had some pretty bad decision making going on and couldn't adjust at half time on defense

you guys really dont get it

BB holds his players accountable for their actions. if he benched butler and lost he still sent the message that everybody is accountable

maybe thats why they are in the SB every year and we arent

mans if reports are true he had the flu all week then it’s simply a few people with an agenda making up a false narrative to slob the Pats.

                        get it?

When we played the Pats one of the announcers said they were starting D LEWIS at rb, when he hadnt been previously, because he was from Pitt and BB likes to let guys try to beat teams that that player had a former connection to. So I thought BB was starting Rowe to let him get revenge on his former team for letting him go. If it were as simple as Butler being sick and not practice all week shouldn't Collingsworth have known that. Bad work on his part then for not being jnformed. It seemed a big mystery to him

And what coach in there right mind is going to sit Bell? Did he have a bad game? Was he a problem in a playoff game?
Middle of season sure sit him.
He is a ME player. Tag him and trade him or he can retire, play for 14.5 mill. His choice. But he is part of the problem overall and a huge contract just adds to that problem.

how do you know it backfired?
maybe playing him would have been worse and the pats wouldnt even had been in it at the end
