i wouldnt watch that crap either. i just see that small posts and videos of our guys acting like they just won the lottery because they won a useless pro bowl game.

Well, even though it was accidental on your part, it pretty well sums up the last few Pro Bowls I watched ... low quality of play, not really serious competition, but more like pattycake and hugs with the dudes, a "Bro Bowl."

Think I'll call it that from now on.

the pro bowl doesn't matter. so what happens at the pro bowl doesn't matter. if that game never existed it would impact the season in exactly the same way. getting spun up about something that is utterly irrelevant is ridiculous.

It's an exhibition! It's entertainment, just like the NFL regular season and playoffs - the difference being the pro bowl probably does not have a predetermined winner.

Did anyone actually watch the game or even parts of it? I put it on for a little bit. It's a complete farce. They don't even tackle anymore. There was a play where the AFC was inside the 5 and handed off to Bell. He ran to about the 2 and then there were 2 or 3 blue jerseys that touched him (yes, touched) and the refs blew it dead. I've seen 6 year old soccer games with more contact than that.

It's a nice recognition for the players but they should stop playing the game. List out the players, give a little bonus, and call it a day.
