those were high level throws by a top 5 QB in this league

I agree. As I said in another thread, in a game like this playmakers have to make plays. That's exactly what the QB and receiver did. Don't discount it as luck. Low percentage, maybe. But the ball was placed exactly where it needed to be in both cases.

Any time you see AB single covered with no deep safety you throw it up.

Throw a beautifully placed pass for AB to make a play on, that's my answer and I'm sticking to it.

Maybe, however, Ben has been an aggressive QB his entire career, and except for the throw to AB, the other two were really plays you hope your HOF quarterback can make regardless of down. In Ben's mind those aren't high risk, he was throwing to players that he believed would be open when the ball arrived, he was right. It's risky to us because we can't make those plays, Ben has been doing for awhile now.

Just rewatched it and both safeties were up.
Bouye had outside leverage with no inside help.
It was perfect and pretty much undefendable.

but the reason we scored 42 points was due to desperation heaves by Ben. Even if they were by design it's not a good way to rely on scoring points. It was basically sandlot football. We couldn't get 1 yard on 2 different plays. We refuse to QB sneak. While our OL is ok I think it's a little overrated based on Bell's running style and Ben throwing quick strikes and dump offs to Bell.

We don't dominate the LOS anymore and it's frustrating to see other teams do it. We are a finesse team and more times than not we get punched in the face by teams with monsters up front.

They had no choice - they were down to the last play of the game. My point is that I would have liked to have seen us never have to make a 4th down attempt. 4th down attempts are usually a symptom of a game unfolding in a bad way.......
