    The Problems at the LOS

Bottom line, we got dominated in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

Jags brought pressure consistently throughout the game. And their Oline owned our front 7.

NFL games are won and lost up front. It’s downright amazing Ben put up the numbers and effort he did yesterday to get this close.

We we were dominated by their big uglies. Unless we can find dominant players up front, we’ll continue to struggle against everyone.

Their O-line was the difference in the ballgame. Our offense played well enough to win. 42 points should be enough.

but the reason we scored 42 points was due to desperation heaves by Ben. Even if they were by design it's not a good way to rely on scoring points. It was basically sandlot football. We couldn't get 1 yard on 2 different plays. We refuse to QB sneak. While our OL is ok I think it's a little overrated based on Bell's running style and Ben throwing quick strikes and dump offs to Bell.

We don't dominate the LOS anymore and it's frustrating to see other teams do it. We are a finesse team and more times than not we get punched in the face by teams with monsters up front.

I agree with you dizz.. I was in no way complimenting our Offensive Line. We will never know about those 4th and 1s. Nobody in their right mind runs a slower developing toss sweep against one of the youngest/fastest defenses in the league and expects a positive result. Those two plays were terrible.

Other than that.... the front 7 on defense was a different level of bad. That was the point I was trying to make.

Except when the offense gave up 17... or was it 21? I forget how many turnovers we gave them (on downs or otherwise) that led to short fields that they scored on

"The offense" is more than just Ben. Ben was responsible for 14 of those points.

              7 points..

even though we gave Jags a short field the D still had a chance to hold them to 3.

those were not "desperation heaves" by ben

those were high level throws by a top 5 QB in this league

good lord some people just see what they want to see just to promote an anti ben agenda

god help this coaching staff when he retires

Agreed, couldn't have been thrown any better by any QB in the league now or in the past, the Bryant and Bell throws were off the charts, the Brown throw was good and Brown is the best receiver in the league so it worked. The fact that it was 4th down each time adds a little suspense to the throws but the throws themselves were 3 of the best I've seen.

Lmao.. it was fourth down on each of those throws if
                          I’m not mistaken.

They were awesome passes and it wasn’t a knock
                          on Ben at all.

My agenda is 4th down bombs isn’t a great way to rely on your offensive production.

i don’t think our offense was that great yesterday.

I also think you you are doing way too much but it’s your time to shine. Congrats.

wait, i thought we had the best center in league, best guard in league and overall top 5 oline. add in a probowl left tackle too.
a oline that is amazing because of munchak, i might add
the same munchak that some want to over pay to stay and not become a head coach
you know, the guys that some say, "just pay the man'................why would you 'pay the man' when they get dominated and if the oline is the problem?
