lucky that the score was even close

if it wasnt for a couple extremely lucky tds throws and catches, and a garbage td late, we get the doors blown off us.
im not sure some of the fanboys understand just how dominated we were.
the catches by brown and bell were 1 in 10 as was the 4th down td throw to bryant
this easily could have been 45 to 21
steelers = 3 ring circus with tomlin being the head clown

      Very true.

True. Completely outcoached and unprepared. A few very lucky individual plays made it close.

Maybe next year Tomlin won't open his big mouth about looking forward to NE.

Some tweets I have seen suggest that our resident loudmouthed Safety Mitchell went to their lockerroom before the game and chirped...

Steelers S Mike Mitchell stood outside Jags locker room before game talking smack: "Ya'll gonna know my name," Jags players reported he said.

Bouchette also posted article that our Steeler talked a good game beforehand...

quote from David DeCastro says it all...

Teammate David DeCastro blasted them for it after their one-and-done playoff loss.

(http://www.post-gazette.com/sports/steelers/2018/01/14/blake-bortles-the-good-place-jason-mendoza-steelers-jaguars-afc-championship/stories/201801140223)“They were ready to go, they were mad, they were angry, they had something to prove and they did it,’’ said DeCastro, who put the finger on teammates he did not name for riling up the Jaguars.

Earlier today a certain poster responded on a different thread that the drama didn't cause any of what happened on the field. I think I will let the players speak for themselves on Social media to make my case.

Fact is Tomlin needs to clean the crap up and he can start by getting rid of Mitchell tomorrow.

What does that have to do with losing, do you really believe if there wasn't smack talk before the game that the outcome would of been different?

Pregame and in game talking doesn't have any impact on the outcome of games. People make more of talking than needs to be.

Wow. Between that and Tomlin completely dismissing them, it's no wonder we got destroyed (again). Why the Rooney's continue to allow this to happen is beyond me. The Chief's rolling over in his grave

A 10 year old knows that you don't want your opponent to have added motivation, feel disrespected, etc. Idiots like Mitchell and Tomlin obviously aren't that smart. Why the **** is he lurking outside the locker room anyway? Maybe he should have been focusing on himself and a game plan to keep a horrid offense from lighting them up like a pinball machine (again)

whatever...again I will defer to the article and DeCastro's take. He says it mattered and that is all I need to hear. You can disagree but you ain't in the lockerroom.

The Jags interviewed article said it mattered to them.

But to answer your question...I do believe people can get motivated by a myriad of reasons. I think that you can kick it up to "11" without even consciously realizing it.

I will never know for sure but I have always big fan of walking the walk before talking the talk

Brady was going to throw those TD's anyway, I'm sure Brady doesn't need any motivation to complete passes.
