    I think the things we can agree on are:

    1. The defense underperformed and a realistic assessment of both the coordinator and schemes is warranted
    2. The offensive play calling was questionable at critical points despite putting up 42 points which should have won any game, see #1 above. Again a realistic assessment of the coord needs to be made.
    3. When Shazier was injured, the defense took a major step back demonstrating how great he truly was. We now see how his speed covered up for other players

    While there is disappointment, childish name calling won't make this board anymore enjoyable. Nothing we type here will have any impact on what the team does or doesn't do so why don't we engage in some civil discourse
    I have to disagree;

    Everything that the vast majority have been saying is spot on. Tomlin DOES need to be fired and has 5 years of proof to justify it ..but he won't.
    Keith Butler needs to be fired and I"m hoping like hell he is because he is Dick Lebeau light and there was a reason we got rid of Lebeau.
    Todd Haley seems like he's not coming back and I think that's why Ben said he will be back next season.

      Tomlin in no way, shape, or form deserves to be fired. That is just reactionary crazy talk...

      And the “vast majority” are saying nothing of the sort...
      Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

        I truly think we win that game with Shazier.

          Losing Shazier to the defense is like losing Ben to the offense, there is no amount of depth that will replace that caliber of player without taking a sever step backwards. At that point its up to the coaching staff to work with what they've got and make lemonade out of oranges. The defensive coaches weren't up to the task, IMO.
