The problem is the Pats D is better than the Ravens when they play us. We have to get 7 when we play the Pats. Ben has to utilize his TE's and move the chains when AB is tripled. JuJu is probably going to be the difference. I would love it if MB woke up next week but dude has been in a haze all year. There has to be some type of vape he can hit before the game that is like weed but legal.

We bring in Harrison as the right defensive end. Move to the 4-3 for the game with TJ, Vince and Bud as our linebackers. We use James and Tuitt as the defensive ends and Javon and Cam as the defensive tackles. Those 4 will have to get pressure on Brady. Especially Javon and Cam up the middle. We mix up are scheme between man and zone with some backers watching for the short crossing routes run by their midgets. We do have to tackle the catch ... no YAC for them.

Then have Ben throw it 70 times if that's what it takes with a few draws thrown in for good measure.

I think we need to force the Pats to run the ball.
Dare them to run by keeping our LBers off the field.
I'd like to see that big nickel/dime line in there with Harrison, Chick, Bud and Hargrave rotating at both rush ends.
Try collapsing the middle with Cam, Tuitt and Alamalu.
If our defense comes out with our base 3-4 and they get their running backs 1 on 1 with our current LB corps, i predict its going to be a long day.
If we can beat the shlt out of their little RB's and keep Brady from hitting the big play perhaps we can give our offense a chance to win this game.
The other factor is Gronk.
Do we give him a free release off the line or hit and punish him to no end.
Have Deebo follow him around and smash him when he lines up on the LOS.
I know it sounds easier said then done, but i'm tired of Brady passing at will and making our defense look silly.

I don't know about the Pats D being better, but they certainly are smarter.
Why they kept leaving AB in single coverage on the outside vs. Carr is mindboggling LOL

21 years ago, Keith Butler was the Memphis DC and the architect of a surprise 3-4 defense that caught the Tennessee Volunteers (led by one Peyton Manning) completely off guard, leading to an upset.

If Butler pulls a surprise 4-3 out of his hat to beat the Pats**, I might just lose it...

Interestingly enough, that year was the first time Butler and Tomlin worked together on a coaching staff. They also were together at Arkansas State again a couple of years later, and now with the Steelers.
