    Hopefully sooner rather than later.

The guys who said "Haden will make a serviceable #2 opposite of Burns" when we signed J.Haden... are also secretly asking the same question. lol

I think there are just some guys who struggle with the mental part of the game, and I think Burns is one of them. I suppose that as they go along in experience, this will go away some and he'll become more dependable... but by that time, his great athleticism will have dissipated. It is what it is... for all the mental breakdowns, he also brings some positives. It's better than a guy like Cockrell, who is assignment sound but has no talent.

I was about to say, the same Sensabaugh that was burned on a half sold double move with no over the top help? Th@t was tape watched by GB on Sensabaugh that made that possible. Haden can't come back quick enough for me.

Before his injury, Haden was back close to form...he was certainly playing like an above average CB1 for us. And with an experienced, dependable guy across from him, Burns was playing like an above average CB2, and our team was near the top of the league in pass defense, total defense, scoring defense, etc.

But once Haden got hurt, Burns has been a below average CB1 for us. And Sensabaugh has been a below average CB2. Throw in a revolving door at safety, and well, that's what we are seeing back there now...
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I hope Haden doesn't rush it - but I suspect he'll be back on the field at the earliest opportunity. He has to be in hog heaven. In one season with the Steelers he has roughly 1/3 of all the wins he had with the Browns the previous 7 seasons. He is likely on fire to get back in the mix.

Just rewatched the pass to Cobb.
Cobb was in the slot and went out and up.
Jordy was outside and ran a skinny post and Artie went with him.
Watt dropped into the short zone and had a RB running into the flat.
                    Cobb snuck down the sideline.
BTW we rushed only 3 and Hundley had all day.

Burns left his zone. Shouldn't have been able to sneak out. Burns stays home and worse case it's a 20 yd completion.

Cobb actually ran a wheel route off of Jordy running a post. The Packers run this all the time, which is why it is so frustrating. It was not a new look that he wouldn't have seen on tape.

Burns's responsibility is whoever goes on the outside. That is Cobb. He should have dropped the post (Jordy) off to Mitchell and went with the wheel (Cobb).

You nor I have any idea if it was man or a zone.
Burns ran with Nelson like he thought it was man.
Like others here have said, it was a communication error which can hopefully be fixed.
