Sure, but lots of teams are getting (+)(+)(+) yards in that situation without on-target throws ... because the WR can do the kind of things I mentioned in my last post.

MB didn't ... has he ever shown that he knows how to?

      No...not really...

OTOH, I don’t recall the Detroit WRs having to work very hard to catch passes from Stafford...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Sad but true ... it may be that Stafford is kind of like the QB Ben was 10 years ago, and better than the one he is today.

        It happens ...

          Getting old sucks...

We don’t need that to win...second half Ben would get it done nicely...we just need second half Ben for the next ten games or so...

Ben shouldnt had made the throw based on the alighment of the DB. Bryant shouldnt had ran that route. A sight adjustment slant or crossing route might have been the better option based on the DB. Sometimes I believe Ben has the idea in his mind that hes going to throw the ball to a certain receiver regardless of coverage.

IMO, this is what happened on that play, 2nd play of the game, trying to catch the DB napping on a go route, brief look left and turn and throw it deep, the ball has to be at the very least over his outside shoulder, the very least. It wasn't and you could tell MB knew they were in trouble because no sooner did the DB make the play then MB made the tackle, so he wasn't oblivious to what was happening, otherwise the DB may have been able to make a return on the play which he didn't.

Shouldn't have been thrown IMO, MB probably could have done a bit more to bail out his QB but, all-in-all a bad decision compounded by a poor throw.

I was at the game and it happen directly in front of me. Ball was under thrown and to the inside. MB had no chance, bad ball.

Bad throw, 80% blame on Ben. The main thing I fault MB for is that he should have been able to adjust enough to play defense on that play and break it up. I think MB is still late/slow on locating the ball and adjusting accordingly.

So it's the Fork of Greatness' fault?
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Just rewatched it and Ben threw a terrible pass. MB wasn’t open when he threw it but you damn sure don’t throw it inside when they have safety help. That pass shouldn’t have been thrown.
