    Interception: Ben's fault, or MB's?

    1. Underthrown

    2. But MB didn't do much, seems like he could easily have broken it up, or even drawn a PI penalty by coming back to the ball, but he didn't seem to know where the ball was!

I'm a bit undecided, but I'd lean to saying it's MB's fault way more than Ben's. 1-1 solo coverage on a WR on the sideline ... Ben has to be able to have confidence that MB will fight for the ball even if it's not a perfect pass.

MB has had some trouble locating the ball this season...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

I thought it was more in MB than Ben. Other than that, MB had a good game.

You all are giving Ben the benefit of the doubt, that was an under-thrown 9 route and Ben got what he deserved, plus the CB made a great play on the ball. If the ball is thrown one step sooner then MB has a shot at fighting for the ball. If you watch the replay, MB was two strides behind the CB when the ball was thrown, he passed him expecting the ball out in front of him and it was under-thrown by a step, blaming MB on that one is like blaming the utensils for being obese, IMO.

Im not blaming the utensils on this one.. but great receivers find a way to make the adjustment. I think it gets back to MB not tracking the ball well right now. Sure, Ben could have made a better throw. I would have at least liked to have seen the INT contested

Well, right now, MB is not a great receiver but Ben is a great quarterback, so its more on him to make a better throw, IMO. Its difficult to slow down on a go pattern and adjust to an under-thrown ball particularly when the ball is thrown and you aren't even or in front of the CB and you have to make up ground which is what MB was doing on that play. IMO, not only under-thrown, but a bad decision by Ben to even throw it there, MB wasn't even or better with the CB.

That toss is on Ben. Bryant about 3 yds under he should be even for that ball to be released n it has to be thrown over outside shoulder not inside.

How about just a great play by the DB.

I'd agree with you that MB is not great right now (although he has shown flashes in the past of being dominant). I will, however , argue that Ben is not a great QB as you claim. Historically, sure.. Now, not so much. I am hoping that changes down the home stretch.

I feel as Ben three it up for mb to prove he can ball like he wanted too. Ben's facial expression after the int made it clear he was trying to get him involved

Yep, I forgot to mention in my post above, under-thrown to the inside, that's an interception waiting to happen regardless of who the WR that it is being thrown to and, MB knew it was bad and immediately tackled the CB.

MB fault all the way...he was behind cb without seperation and should have moved inside and jumped... that is what they got mb for to go after ball....he just layed his hands out like some angel was suppose to just lay it in his hands....prove ben under threw it!!! He layed it up for him to go get it...many of mb failures iin the past is he has not gotten seperation from cb so bs on the under thrown ball.....

MB was behind the DB, if the DB doesn't make a diving INT then it it hits MB right in stride. They have really been sending Bryant deep a lot this year and the DB's are playing way off the ball, the Steelers started to exploit it later in the game with Bubble screens and drag routes.

Looked like a great play in a slightly underthrown ball. Bryant isn’t that type of WR who will go up and get it like Moss. Throw it further or don’t throw it at all.
