Guess Sensabaugh vs. Cockrell doesn't matter now. Cockrell is expendable now because he clearly isn't in the team's long term plans. Wonder if anyone would give us a 7th for him.

Haden and Burns on the outside, Sutton, Hilton, Sensabaugh at slot and backup. Gay as sixth, Allen to PS (if they don't push for 7 CBs in 53--could happen, depending on how much they think of Allen's future).

Gay as a sixth (utility guy) who can also swing to safety if needed. I like that rotation.

The bigger secondary concern IMO is our complete lack of Safety depth past our starting two
My preference was for Obi at safety. Still secondary help.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

I look for gay to swing back there and pick up the slack if needed.. hopefully he's up to it.

Me too. Wanted to trade up for Melifonwu when he fell within reasonable reach in the second round.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Senquez probably wishes he would have practiced, eh? Whoopsie doodles!
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Oh well.. im open to Golsen being on the practice squad... but only if our 5th round CB makes the 53..or is solidified on the practice squad as well. Otherwise, time to move on. I wish the Golsen the best either way.

I just said to my son once we heard about the signing. Funny that up until yesterday Sensebaugh and Cockrell were fighting over a starting job, and now the team is probably trying to decide which one of them to cut.
