Sensabaugh over Cockrell

Apparently my eyes didn't deceive me watching the Cockrell abuse in the PIT-ATL game. The Depot is reporting Sensabaugh took first team reps today in practice. I don't think that's a bad thing, as the Steelers clearly must recognize that Cockrell is a zone CB and seems to struggle in man.

Lets see if Sensabaugh can cover T Y Hilton. Never a bad thing to shake it up and that's what the pre-season is for anyway. A time to evaluate. Perhaps motivate pushing guys to get better to keep their starting jobs. We need to see guys compete on a game level not just in house at practice. Competition will determine who is where on the depth chart.

Sensabaugh has tried the outside on a couple of teams and hasn't done well. I'd love to see what Hilton can do against the opponents #1's. I think the guy is a player.
