I see a VERY poor man's Cam Newton. Makes more plays with his legs than his arm. Very similar delivery, though Dobb's arm is not as strong or accurate. Ceiling=Cam Newton.....floor=Joe Webb

He made a lot of plays with his arm. Yes he can run. But unlike say Colin Kappernick and our own Kordell Stewert..who's main trait were their legs and running game...Dobb's HAS the Strong arm, can make any throw on the field, and, unlike Cam and all those others...Dobb's has a Brain.Comment

I think they admitted that when you look at his new contract. And because there really wasn't anything out there as a replacement who one...would cost as low as what Landry got, and who would know our system the way Jones does. Jon Gruden has hopes that he'll be the next Dax Prescott.
The kid is a tough runner, he's VERY smart -- and he's a hard worker.
With the talent around him (Steelers) and that Offensive Line I would expect him to be able to hold his own -- when given a chance.
Atheletically we've seen this before Dennis Dixon / Tee Martin / Kordell Stewart -- the difference is if Dobbs can read defenses.
I think it's a GREAT Value pick -- and I also think he's a solid character guy. Good choice.
