Ok. Sorry, I am done. I apologize for the harsh introduction.

    To review:
-Yes, Josh Dobbs looks a little different. Make fun of him if you like!
-He is a good kid, and will get a chance to make the Steelers roster.
-If Dobbs makes the team we should cut Landry, then sign Landry's Beard to the vet minimum to farm transplants for Dobbs' eyebrows

Man, this is crazy. It's not the lack of eyebrows it's the small patch of hair with the clean fade. Glad he shaved it off.

I was jacked at WR in the second also because I fell for the draft hoopla. Just more entertainment and part of the hobby. Can not take it to seriously.

Some picks with be better then there draft position others will fail. One draft most times is not the deciding factor. It can help some or hurt some. But even truly bad drafts had players contribute some. I trust the FO to try to do there best. Take calculated gambles. As every single draft pick is a gamble. I will give all these kids a chance to succeed or fail. And all the pissing and moaning does nothing but create more entertainment for viewers of this forum. But to have a rational discussion about a player or draft pick is why I am here.

Colbert or another Steelers FO said it best in a interview.

Exactly. Some self proclaimed experts see every glass half empty. The guys who really get paid to do this look for the half full glasses.

Looks decent to me, plays in a bona fide division.

Ah why not. The kid is smart and has all of the tools. Let's give him some time to develop. In the near term, maybe work him into some sub packages to mix it up a bit. Give opponents something else to prepare for. With the intellect, I'd say he's got a pretty good chance of developing into a decent starter in a few years.

ARII says they didn't draft Dobbs to be Ben's successor. Apparently, they just took him for depth, and to possibly eventually challenge for the backup spot.

                  http://www.steelersdepot.com/2017/04/steelers-not-viewing-josh-dobbs-successor-roethlisberger/

So I'm changing my grade on the pick from a "B" to a "D". I think there were a lot more pressing needs the team could've addressed with their 4th rounder than the bottom of the depth chart at QB.

That's just a PR move. The Patriots didn't draft Tom Brady to be their successor either. But look how that changed. Right now they have Landry as Ben's back-up and successor. If Rooney would have stated different about a still untested Dobbs....what does that do to Jones confidence ?

                        Jones? Pfft.. I doubt it.

I think this was a PR move for the other QB. I wonder how Ben treats Dobbs if he was named the successor to Ben?

A couple nice back shoulder throws, a couple tight window throws, a couple wide open receiver throws, a couple bad decision and WR bails you out throws, pocket presence and ability to escape tacklers in the pocket, runs the option, good arm strength, in other words, he's a typical 4th round pick. Not much bad there but I would prefer if he escapes pressure in the pocket to look down field rather to take off running more to preserve himself than anything else. I think he'll be an upgrade over Jones possibly this year and lets hope for a 2nd year of lightning in a bottle and he becomes Ben's successor in 3 to 4 years regardless of what Art II says.

Come on man. I love Bell, but I think that the only reason you skip a drug test is because you know you're going to fail.

That being said, I'm glad that his appeal made it so that his next offence will only be 4 games instead of a year.

Seen a lot more running than I care to see from a QB. Strong arm, nice touch. Based on mobility and pocket awareness, looks like potential to upgrade over LJ.
