    we need 2 edge, 1 cb, 1 s, 1 rb, 1wr and a qb before we need a TE

        I'd take a TE before I'd take a WR

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Texans will "likely" draft a quarterback following Tony Romo's decision to retire.
They likely were going to draft a quarterback regardless of Romo's decision, but it certainly increases the urgency. With just Tom Savage and Brandon Weeden on the roster, the Texans ideally would like to land a Week-1 starter in the draft, but that quarterback does not exist in this year's class. Houston could turn to the veteran quarterback market, but the best option is Jay Cutler, and he might not want to play this season either. While not having a quarterback might be better than having Brock Osweiler, Romo's decision has left the Texans in a desperate situation.

This is good for us because this will probably make the Texans take a QB which will push another good player down to us. I'm thinking 3-4 bust QB's go in the first round now.

I can now only hope that 3-4 runningbacks also go in round one.

Mahommes isn't a good fit for the Texans IMO. He needs time and it would be tragic to throw him to the wolves too soon. I think they know this...if you want a day 1 starter you draft Watson. Thats if he falls to the Texans.

I don't want that if the Steelers don't sign a long term deal with Bell.

I think there could be several teams that pass on QB their first pass through the 1st round versus over drafting someone. They may in turn be looking to trade up into the bottom of round 1. That could work out well for us.

He wants a long term deal and he will get it. The market suggest he will get around 11 mill per year. I think we can throw a few dollars in the back end so it looks like more to make him feel good about it.

4 years for 48 mill is my prediction.

Well they had better put a weed smoking clause in there...very little guarantee money. How far away from a year suspension is he at this point?

When the Steelers were talking about possibly moving Ben after Georgia, I said that I didn't believe they were actually considering it, they were just trying to send a message. I think that Seattle is doing something similar. Sherman has been talking trash about the league more and more over the past year or so. I think this is more about behavior modification than an attempt to move him.
