That's how I have my mock now...Cunningham seems to be a forgotten guy as pundits drool over Combine times rather than actual game tapes. The draft is deep enough with edge rushers, corners, and safeties that we should be able to find capable ones on Friday night and early Saturday morning.

I honestly don't know so this isn't a criticism of any proposed pick, but does Cunningham check the speed block which seems like a prerequisite on our defense now??????? Our recent defense picks have had speed as a major attribute.

He doesn't have the crazy straight line 40 speed that Shazier does, but he was impressive in him jumps at the combine, both broad and vert, which shows the necessary explosion in his legs that teams look for, and the tape review shows his excellent instinctiveness and awareness out on the field. His football mind gets him where he needs to be faster than players with better raw 40 times. This guy is a football player who just makes plays.
