I will pass on T.J. Watt. We don't need a "tweener" and a guy with multiple knee surgeries already. This love fest because of his brother is too much.

I don't think it's a love fest for his brother. I think it was that he was a disruptive freak in college.

The thing is this...I don't have Takk's MRI in front of me. I don't know how extensive the surgery is...what I do trust is the Steelers doc opinion on the matter. He is a top 15 talent, a disruptive presence and worth taking a risk on. IN the first? Depends on that medical. Second is a no brainer.

Buzz....A little hindsight time as 2017 was a while back. Wow. Peppers was picked in round one, and Cook is such a bad athlete he only made the pro bowl twice in his first 4 years. I wish we had Cook at RB but not over Watt, who was my call that year in round one. Who questioned Cook as athlete? Last season he ran for 1,557 yards, scored 17 TD,'s and had a 5.0 yard per carry which is a career year form 99,8% of NFL Backs. He also caught is 44 times for 8.3 yards a catch. Nearly 2,000 yardaand 17 TD's. You don't play fantasy football, do you?

Just a little fun, Keylargo. I'm sure there's plenty of that to go around with your " stuff " . I can get along really well with all types. Honest. You just might like me No worries , this is just a one time thing...for the week. If it's too much I promise to stop, just PM me.

Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

                  FWIW

I think anyone making predictions on college players is likely to be wrong at least as often as they are right.

I'd prefer we don't take shots are people for being wrong because I like reading people's takes here and disincentivizing that will make the board worse IMO.

Cooks was a bad eval. I own it. Peppers has done nothing to remotely warrant a first round pick. Make sure you don't cherry pick these though. Pull up the Mahommes and Baker Mayfield evals too.

nothing worse than being proven wrong and then digging for hours to try and find a bad take.

That means you either have a ton of time on your hands or you really can’t handle being wrong... or both

my favorite one is Steel Maniac predicting that Lamar Jackson would be a total bust in the NFL and would set the Ravens franchise back years.

.....And if you are a guy that doesn't get it wrong occasionally, then you should give a team a call because you're in the wrong line of work.
