We need depth on the DL but lets not make it crowded. Lets make our LB corps crowded first.

Oh I agree. We are going to do that thru the draft. But make no mistake about it, we are going to use 1 of out top 3 picks on the DL. So why not just use that pick in an trade for Richardson? His flexability would be huge for us.

If I were an NFL GM i'd have no issues trading picks for proven NFL players.
However with Richardson's off field issues I wouldn't.

If you really love Hargrave you will want our FO to get him some help on the DL. You can never have too many fresh legs on the DL demanding double teams.

I know I'm dreaming but if we could add Richardson and Kenny Britt, plus a good draft, I'd more then like our chances against the Patriots. Or anyone else for that matter.

The Richardson move doesn't do much for me mainly because our base D is nickel which we're in 67% of the time and we run that 2-4-5 more then the 3-3-5.Richardson has game but I don't see it as the best fit for us provided Cam is okay. Haven't heard anything to think he will not be back to his old self. I would rather just see us extend Tuitt but that's just me.

Richardson is a talent but there's a reason they couldn't trade him last season. I found this from an article in the N.Y.P.,

"There is no denying Richardson is an immense talent, but he had only 1 ½ sacks last season, has been suspended to start each of the past two years, fought with teammate Brandon Marshall last season and was benched for being late repeatedly. That is not exactly the type of player teams will be lining up for."

You don't trade away your 1st round super talent unless he's damaged.....
