I would've liked to have seen Mettenberger in the second half.

Kudos to Jones. That last drive was beautiful. Clutch too! Maybe the best I've ever seen him play.

4th career start. Not bad at all.

Congrats to Landry and his young targets (Rogers, Ayers, Hamilton, James, etc.).
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Good enough to win without Pouncey, Bell, and AB!!
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

He may have found himself a roster spot next year.. on some team.

And would that be his first career game-winning drive in the 4th quarter or OT? Only like 40 behind Ben now.

                      I'll take the win...lol

and hoping they draft a qb in round 1 next year... if a worthy QB is there when we pick.

Nothing wrong with Landry on that last drive.

And that last drive showed what a difference good play-calling can make, too.

I wouldn't be surprised if they find a way to bring LJ back next year.

I hope you're wrong on that because the longer they hold onto him, the more they seem to drag their feet on drafting Roethlisberger's heir apparent. (although I will say that next year's QB class appears underwhelming at best.)

They aren't even thinking about getting Ben's replacement in this upcoming draft. Their priority is a quality back up who can step in when required. Jones is exactly that and he proved it yesterday. Why would you bring in someone to be a back up who doesn't know the offense or the players and start from zero? I'm all for both him and Mettenberger being the back ups next year. Bird in the hand....

Im ok with this theory I guess... if Ben plays til he's 40, and is productive.

Wonder what Ben's stat line would read had he played? Prolly not a whole lot better. Think about that a little.
