You aren't a fan of being a #1 or #2 seed? Granted the 1 seed comes with home field advantage but it still involves a bye. IMO this is the best thing that could happen to us as a #3 seed with nothing to lose.

I just figured at some point someone would notice and make a comment but 3 or 4 pages later not one mention of the "invention" that Ovi needs to discover. Keep me posted Ovi on the invention and I hope it works out for you.

Ovi is going to work with Jigawatts to invent a time machine (I hear Libyans will give you plutonium in exchange for a fake bomb built with used pinball machine parts). He'll then go back to the 2013 draft and make sure that the Pittsburgh Steelers use their 1st round pick on Le'Veon Bell, their 2nd round pick on Markus Wheaton, their 3rd round pick on Vince Williams, and their 4th round pick on Jarvis Jones. Then all will be right with the world, since Jarvis Jones will have become a 4th round talent who was actually taken in the 4th round.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I'm in the lab now "inventing" a 1st Round OLB who can actually rush the QB, get sacks and doesn't get benched for lack of performance. I'll keep you posted

4th Round talent? Perhaps I have been too generous in the past given being recently inactive.

Tuitt, Green ruled out for Sunday

The Steelers have ruled defensive end Stephon Tuitt and tight end Ladarius Green out for Sunday’s regular-season finale vs. the Browns.

Tuitt suffered a knee injury in Week 15 and also missed last week’s game. Green, who’s been dealing with a concussion, returned to practice on a limited basis for two days this week, a sign that he could return for the playoffs next week.

With safety Robert Golden (ankle) already ruled out and the Steelers planning to sit quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, running back Le’Veon Bell, wide receiver Antonio Brown and center Maurkice Pouncey because they’ve clinched the playoffs, it won’t take Steelers coach Mike Tomlin long to fill out the inactives sheet on Sunday morning.
