Especially with Coates, Hamilton and Rogers (who just got out the doghouse) as our WR's... why in the hell would Ben be talking about AB?

[QUOTE=RuthlessBurgher;679159]He's been dealing with a couple of broken fingers for the last month or so. Kind of an important part of catching the ball.[/QUOTE

Could've done without the last comment. Anyways, I saw he's been on the field on special teams and such. Must not be too worried about those broken fingers if they are going to let him play.

If he can't catch with broken fingers what's the point of playing WR right now? Doesn't mean he can't contribute in other areas. At least he is trying to play through it instead of being in sweats.

Different to tackle some one than catch a Big Ben fast ball with broken fingers. Would've thought that was obvious

actually... I've played the game with broken fingers... and nothing's easy about it... blocking, tackling... etc.

Lots of WR's have played through it over the years(broken fingers). If Coates can't... I'm not knocking the guy. Hope he is able to contribute again soon... because he is obviously needed.

I've wondered if AB would remain strong during these times of double-teaming/less than stellar production, or start sulking. I haven't noticed any body language to suggest the latter ...
Brown stepped out of bounds after a 3 yd gain off a quick screen.
Body language suggests he isnt very happy.

                  Good? Definitely. Stellar?
Averaging 92 yards a game would put you with in a few yards of the NFL's top 50 all-time receiving seasons...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

How many have played well with broken fingers? Coates already has questionable hands.

Hard to tell Dizz... I know Favre used to break them quite often. I think it's a fairly common thing.

You don't want to see Torry Holt's hands now. He makes Brian Baldinger look like a hand model.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Makes no sense to me. He can't play WR because of his supposed fingers but can play special teams where tackling is madatory? He was in on a few plays on ST. I think the guy is in the doghouse.

Well, even though all of us (watching the games) know AB's impact hasn't been so great recently... If you average out those numbers:

                              128 receptions, 1472 yards.

I think that would qualify as stellar by anyone's book.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

Tackling, blocking... pushing, grabbing.. etc. None of it is easy on broken fingers.
