    Offense is Meh

The win was great. BUT, 3 pts in an entire 2nd half against the hapless Browns?? Something smells with this offense and I hope they find the cure soon.

Where were the TEs all day? OK. they used Bell quite a bit instead, but the red zone offense needs a lot of work. Not scoring 30 pts on the Browns is not a comforting feeling for the stretch run.
But these days I guess we should take ugly wins as par for the season.

Hopefully now that Green has tasted action, he'll start playing a big role in the EZ packages.

2 three and outs to end the game disgraceful.

Ben is looking for him in the RZ, Green needed to have it in gear. This week on (for him), no more excuses.

We need him to pick up a lot of slack in the receiving game.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

Hard to believe that we still have AB, Coates, Rogers, and some able TE's...along with Bell.. and are short on weapons?

Someone at chat suggested Ben doesn't trust anyone in crunch time except Bell and AB. Maybe the other guys aren't doing great in practice.

I think some of Bens comments lately have been about AB

He's been dealing with a couple of broken fingers for the last month or so. Kind of an important part of catching the ball.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

                      Gut feeling, or in-the-know sportswriter?

I've wondered if AB would remain strong during these times of double-teaming/less than stellar production, or start sulking. I haven't noticed any body language to suggest the latter ...

                        Agree.

How many all-pros are needed to make an offense respectable? Starting to wonder about Roethlisberger and his play. There were again open receivers but he never pulled the trigger. (wind could have been a factor in his decisions.)

I love how 1st in the NFL in catches, 2nd in the NFL in TD catches, and 4th in the NFL in receiving yards is considered to be less than stellar production by AB.

                            Enjoying the win for sure.

But there were also few things I saw today that would tell me the offense or defense have finally turned the corner and we can expect great things again for the team going forward. It looked a lot like surviving against a zero win team. The positive is the Steelers just improved their won-loss against teams with a losing record.

Last 5 games: Average of 8 receptions, 92 yards (if I've done it right).

                              Good? Definitely. Stellar?
