    Definition of Bust

38 yr old JH to start over JJones against the Browns.

For a first rd pick 4 yrs into his career I don't know what more we need to see.
and stop with ,"he's good against the run". He was the reason Ejlliot got the last TD.

Bust Dupree will be our next big disappointment.

I have hopes for Dupree b/c he's got the size to rush the passer.
He will NOT be this bad. Especially if he's given 4 yrs to prove it.

Because of age, James is likely to get injured if he starts, or at best will be a total non-factor towards the end of the year, I fear.

Though I can see why the move had to be made, I would understand if Vegas didn't bump up our odds of winning after hearing of this move

Jones is good against the run.. but that doesn't mean he can't get torched by another 1st rounder that looks like he is the truth. Zeke ran through Bama's D like a hot knife through butter and already has 1,000 yards.

Jones ins't who we thought he was but neither are half the draft picks we made in the last 5 years.

We can only blame J.Jones for so long.

Zeke is truly that gifted, and Jones isn't that good. Do I believe Jones to be a bad player? No. Do I believe him to be a bust? For a first round pick yes. He doesn't have the speed to cover or rush the pass. We will be looking for an upgrade in the first two rounds of this draft.

Ask friends in Cleveland what the definition of a bust is. From 2012 to 2014, they had 5 first round picks, including 3rd overall, 6th overall, 8th overall, and two selections at 22nd overall. They used those picks to add Trent Richardson, Barkevious Mingo, Justin Gilbert, Brandon Weeden, and Johnny Manziel. Jarvis Jones looks like Superman compared to that drafting mess.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Considering teams are only rushing against the Steelers 38% of the time that makes him a non-factor almost two thirds of the time the defense is on the field. So if I am negotiating his next contract he's in for a pay cut .

Agree, he's a disappointment due to his lack of pressures... but, I'm pretty annoyed at how many of you throw passing vs rushing % out as if 3rd and 1 doesn't matter....

Steelers defense is on pace to break a 10 yr low for number of times in forcing opponents into 3 and outs. It's been that kind of a slide.

This is the truth...and, thus, will likely be ignored.

A term like bust has no real meaning. I figure a true bust should be reserved for the guys who are drafted top 5 or 10 and produce nothing ever. The marquee players with mammoth expectations who amount to nothing more than a punchline.

                          Jamarcus Russell
                          Akili Smith
                          Ryan Leaf
                          Tim Couch

Beyond the top ten the draft is a crap shoot anyway. Too many players don't make it for one guy to stand out and deserve the term "bust".

Not defending the guy, but I would call him more of a career disappointment, guy who never reached draft status, backup quality player drafted to start etc.

OK. semantics at this point. How about not worth his paycheck? JJones is making 50% more than JH and producing 50% less.

Jarvis Jones is soft as fresh dog$hit...He got hurt tackling a small receiver and had to leave the game.
