This loss is on 3 individuals

1 Haley for trying to convert 3rd downs by running and constant running plays that are Baltimore strength.
2 Ben for preforming like a high school Qb in every road game.
3 Tomlin for sitting back with a thumb up his butt , while letting Haley sabotage the team. And if he can't control his OC from stinking up the joint, maybe it's time for the Steelers to look else where.

I'm sorry but Ben is #1. He couldn't even complete five-yard passes. He had like 10 3 and outs. I will give Haley and Tomlin some of that blame, but Ben still has the ba in his hands. He had fine pass protection most of the day.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

This is 100% on Ben. For the Haley haters you can't have it both ways. You can't say Ben make all the calls when they go right and its Haley's fault when they don't. Ben had the ability to audible on every play out there. perhaps he did and made the wrong call.

This loss is 100% on Ben. He looked like he was sleep walking for half the game. I could throw the ball better than he did.

I agree. How did Haley think that using multiple TE sets and running at the strength of the Ravens D was going to be effective? Why did Tomlin sign off on that game plan? This team stinks on the road. At some point, the coaching staff has to own that.

And yes, Ben can't be absolved, either. He did not play well and his afternoon would have looked much worse if Mosley didn't drop an easy pick.

Or Weddle, he dropped an easy.

            1) Ben hands down played ish ball. This loss is on him.
            2) OL- yes they were playing against stacked boxes but I don't believe they created a single hole for Bell all game.
            3) Haley/Tomlin for not seeing Ben was a slug early and replacing him with Jones.
            Trolls are people too.

Disagree. The coaches are the boss, not the players. You tell Ben to sit his butt down on the bench and STFU.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

At the risk of sounding like Crash: 1) Haley. 2) Haley. 3) Haley.

Funny how much better they looked when they went to no-huddle in the 4th and Haley wasn't calling plays. Of course, I've had this opinion for quite some time...

Not that I'm absolving Haley, because his game plan and play-calling sucked, but I think I need to point out that by the time they went no-huddle, Ravens were into their soft defense.

Haley's play calling or Ben's audibles? Which was it? Do you really know? Ben has to execute no matter the call and he was miserable yesterday.

I agree. I wasn't a fan of some of those 3rd down runs but Ben was horrible for 3 quarters.

I wonder how good that 4th quarter looks if the Ravens weren't in prevent.

Not arguing your point that Ben was miserable, that was clearly evident ... but there's no way that all the plays through the first three quarters were audibles. Very strange that you were so ready to assign blame to LeBeau for the defensive woes when he was here, but you give Haley a complete pass when it comes to sucky offensive performance under his watch. Haley was in charge of the offensive game plan yesterday, and it clearly blew chunks. Haley and Ben BOTH get a big, fat "F" for the Ravens game.

So, you absolve Ben of any poor play? It was all Haleys fault? lol...come on man.

i'm saying, poor play calling can make players look worse. And make teams lose.

did Ben struggle? absolutely. But, not once did i think, "just bench him".

Instead, the whole time, I thought, "These plays look an awful like Haley's first year when his objective was to not get Ben hit. Why are they being SO conservative? that's not where he excels (pre-snap read, 3-step drop, hit a guy).... If he wasn't ready, don't play him. If he's ready, let Ben be Ben... "

And, YES, I wondered if no-huddle would make him a little more comfortable... at that point, he's calling his own plays that he's most comfortable with in those situations.

This team is SO MUCH better when Haley's NOT calling plays. Has been that way from day 1.

In his first year here. Hatch said ben wasn't allowed to audible.
Did they revert back to that yesterday? Was it cause Ben didn't practice
all of the snaps during the week.

Was the mandate. You're not 100%, so
just go with the called plays.

                              Very strange gameplay
