      Exactly!
He is a good head coach (players play for him) but ee never impressed as an OC. When Pagano got sick and Arians replaced him, his natural ability as a head coach was revealed. Had he never replaced Pagano, he would have never gotten his shot with his middling offensive numbers.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

So why is he still so burnt by the Steelers? The Steelers letting him go is what lead to him getting a head coaching opportunity. I don't get his continued anger, especially at Tomlin.

I think it's clear to everyone that the Rooney's wanted him gone in hopes of implementing a system that has a shot at protecting Ben. The current scheme seems like it's geared towards that but I'm not sure that any system is really going to save Ben from being Ben. He was abused last year much like he was under Arians.

There's A LOT of dumb people who don't think Haley is a good coach, who would prefer Arians. As for Arians, he's just bitter about his departure... perfectly understandable on his part. We all take offense to perceived slights, in our personal and professional lives. Whether it be a job offer that never came, a girlfriend who broke up with you... You want to "prove" people wrong who (you think) didn't believe in you.

              That's not entirely true...

Under Haley, Ben is being sacked at about 2/3 the rate (1 sack per 10.6 attempts under Arians, 1 sack per 16.9 attempts under Haley)...

Last year's injury wasn't even a sack...it was a low, late hit that should have been flagged...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Good to see the statistics. I was wondering. But still, it seems like Ben's style opens him to more injuries. He had multiple injuries last season as I recall - Knee, Shoulder, Head.

What are the stats on how many games per season Ben has missed under Arians vs. Haley?

I can tell you that Ben never played 16 games in two consecutive years (for whatever reason) under Arians...

He's only done that once in his career, but you're right.

Are you guys purposefully trying to spur on yet another return visit from a certain Ben-loving, Arians-hating banned poster?
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Bruce Arians uses a casket-like “chill zone”
Posted by Mike Florio on June 22, 2016, 12:25 PM EDT

What does Cardinals coach Bruce Arians do to relax? Apart from having an occasional (or more frequently) cocktail, Arians uses a “chill zone.” On Tuesday’s PFT Live on NBC Sports Radio, Andrea Kremer of HBO’s Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel explained what it is.

“He has this, I almost don’t even know how to describe it,” Kremer said. “You kind of have to see it, and you will. This is a horrible analogy, it looks a casket. It’s this gigantic wooden box that’s got music and these crystals in it, and these lights. It sounds pretty new age here, Mike, and he lays in it and he calls it the ‘chill zone.’ There is some science behind it, and you turn the different colors depending on if you want to sort of tone it down or amp yourself up. He gets in there once a week, every week during the football season. He’s got device at home in Georgia, he’s got a place where he goes in Phoenix, and he just chills out.

“He maintains that this helps him literally maintain his cool, that it just relaxes him. Now this does not prevent him from drinking his Crown Royal, which has that same effect, but I had no idea he uses this thing. So he showed it to us, it was pretty interesting and it’s not like he just talks about it, you actually, see this thing and it’s just crazy looking. So I had no idea that he did this and you know what, you talk about the copycat league. It did occur to me, ‘Wow, if he went to the Super Bowl and this works I wonder if this is going to be good for business.'”

If it’s good for business, it will be good for Arians. His wide, Chris, is one of the owners of the company that makes relaxation booths or chambers available, at a cost of $299 for three one-hour sessions.

Other Cardinals coaches use it, too, and it’s likely something that will indeed spread if/when the Cardinals take the next step or two, getting to the Super Bowl and winning it with Arians and his staff running the show.

I just realized I wrote Arians-hating when I clearly meant Haley-hating. Arians was never a golf coach, after all.

I will always be an Arians fan. Did Ben get hit a lot? Yes.. but we also got big plays at big moments.

Haley is cool, we have weapons and we put up nice stats but we havent won jack sh#t and needed a miracle on D and a late hit and JP on the field to beat the Bengals last year.

Hopefully we put it all together but lets be honest, Arians has had more success than we had since he departed.

Rankings dont win chips.. when the pressure is on does Haley deliver or do we see him fold? IMO far too often this offense hasnt come up big when we needed it the most.
