Ravens Get Together For A Night of Bachelorette Television

        June 7, 2016 11:29 PM

Baltimore (WJZ) — You can usually count on NFL players looking at film with fellow teammates during the offseason. But how about an hour of The Bachelorette with companions of the gridiron.

That’s the case with Dennis Pitta and some other Ravens players you may be accustomed to. Guys like Joe Flacco and Justin Tucker are just a few of the players you may find watching The Bachelorette on a Monday night.

        Check it out:

And while all the fellas made it a point to watch the show, Justin Tucker didn’t hesitate to mention who the biggest fan was.

“Dennis for sure,” Tucker told Ryan Mink of BaltimoreRavens.com. “Pitta’s a huge ‘Bachelor,’ ‘Bachelorette’ franchise fan.”

Getting a bit of male bonding done prior to training camp is never a bad idea, even if it’s from a reality dating show.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

What's our record under Tomlin when Ben is out? Pretty sure it's .500 or close to it. I remember his 4 game suspension and how everyone said we would go 0-4 and we went 3-1. Last year the analyst pointed out how other teams tanked without their starting QB while we stayed afloat with good coaching and win by committee.

Fact is, while we are better with Ben we will also be pretty darn competitive once he is gone because of coaching and our FO drafting talent. Not trying to take anything away from Ben but without his contract we will keep more talent at skill positions and still be in the hunt.

Sounds like kind of a girly-man activity if you ask me--errr, not that there's anything wrong with that, if that's your kind of thing. Guess I'd just as soon not hear about something like this going on with the players on the Steelers.
