Coach of the Year for each division? What's next, participation trophies?
lol... he may well be the AFC coach of the year, IMO... all things considered. to come through what they came through and not only make the playoffs, but, ADVANCE, is a pretty fabulous story.
Is it really an award if it comes from ESPN Nation?
I think my 2015 MNF Executive Champion Award that came from Lonbull is more respected in league circles.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
There are only 4 individuals that can win the award, so it really isn't that big of a deal. It is nice that he was selected over Marvin Lewis because it allows Steeler fans to rub a little more salt in the Bengal fans' wounds if you choose that path.
