Why would we? We aren't Bengals fans and, in fact, the Bengals are the new Raiders based on the injuries they have inflicted on key Steeler players. Are you a ML fan?

so an award is only an accomplishment if a steeler wins it?

I have a feeling YOU would praise it just cause it wasn't Tomlin.

i would because it is a highly regarded award and anyone that wins it should be honored.
i mean seriously, there were a whole 2 coaches that had a legit shot to win it.
            that is quite the accomplishment

On a Steelers board? Yeah, you are off base as per usual...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

This. Tomlin is really the only viable candidate if this was voted on after the Bengals implosion.

Is that what I said? I missed the entire part of my post where I indicated or even implied that an award is an accomplishment only if a Steeler wins the award. Your question was "Would we be celebrating Marvin Lewis' selection as AFC North coach of the year?" My response was, why would we celebrate another team's coach winning the award. We wouldn't is the answer, it has nothing to do with whether or its an accomplishment because a Steeler won the award.

Fast Willie found out from Tomlin once upon a time that there aren't 6 rushing titles in the trophy case at team headquarters.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Besides, Gary Kubiak deserves no credit for that SB win...he only won because of John Fox's players...
