As little appreciation as our defense got, had AZ scored as it had been scoring we lose. We held them well below their average. If not for a defensive score, Ben's hero moment never happens.

    The better defense won.
In 43, the Cardinals had the better O and out scored our O...

In 40, the Seahawks offense was ineffective...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

People want us to emulate Carolina to improve our pass rush when we had MORE SACKS THAN THEY DID, without a single dominating pass rusher .
Do you realize we are one good pass rusher away from leading the league in sacks.
pressure, I think it's sacks AND pressure.

But the reality is that Jones is a "miss as pick" as a pass rusher. That is what is frustrating. If he was half the hype this defense would be awesome.

we certainly didn't get to Peyton like the Panthers got to him last night.

            There definitely isn't plent
and while you laugh at the Pats they are known to be an opportunitistic defense who gives up yards but doesn't give up points.
Where were the Ravens ranked on defense when they won it? How about the giants both times they won it?

Did you start the thread to talk about great defenses or ones that just make a play or 2. The patriots d does nothing for your side of the argument.

Green bay would have had over 500 yards of offense vs. Us if their receivers hung on to the ball. Just because they get a turnover or maybe a sack or 2 doesn't mean they won because of their defense.
Did the saints win because of their defense since they got a pick 6??

Look at how they built their teams or see what they are known for. The pats and packer teams were not champions because of their defnese
That's like saying Seattle won a sb with their offense be use they put up so many points vs. Denver in the sb

PS. Just to be clear,in not sayin g you can't win if you only have a great defense. Im saying there's more then one way to go about winning

Not that it matters much though. Still a high pick.
At least their D is reaping the rewards of drafting defense high over the last few years.

We've done pretty. Much the same and are (at best) middle of the pack

Wolfe was their first pick #36 overall. Sorry didn't realize that it was at the top of the 2nd round.
