        And thank goodness for that!

Ovi and fezzi are two wonderful, idiosyncratic threads in this glorious tapestry called PlanetSteelers!
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

I realize it was only one game and a championship game at that - but the speed and ferocity of the panther LB'ers yesterday was impressive. I kept thinking to myself - we have four #1's at LB, and we don't look like that.

But I'm not sure of the answer. I think Timmons is a step slower, but still very good. Shazier had a very very good season and a couple monster games. Harrison is still the man, but he's an old man. Dupree was a rookie. Jones is as mentioned above.

the upside and the potential are still there. but as it currently sits - I think we should expect and see more production out of that unit. So do the steelers continue chasing the dream? Or do they make changes? it's the steelers so the answer is simple. They won't over react or make sweeping changes. I expect with our other needs the LB's we have now are what we'll have next year. But with Butler in his second year as DC I think there HAS to be some improvement.

All 3 of their starting linebackers were also #1 picks (Luke Kuechly 9th overall, Thomas Davis 14th overall, and Shaq Richardson 25th overall).
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Bud, Jarvis, Shaz.... though FWIW, Thomas davis took a long time to settle in... He was a hybrid/safety for a few years before moving fulltime to LB
