Yeah, but they managed to keep him clean vs. Justin Houston, Tamba Hali, Dontari Poe, Dee Ford, etc. the week before vs. the Chefs.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

their DL ISNT CONCERNED with 2 gapping or if they have to drop into coverage because of a zone blitz scheme.
Younger players are not often confused as to what their assignment is.

We need to Just simplfy things. Get 4 linemen on the DL and tell them to attack. Attaxk the QB and the running lanes.
We might have w stars there in tuiit and heyward.
Dupree has the body type to be a 4-3 DE.
There's more coverage linebackers on this team then there are rushing the QB types. So drop them back into the passing lanes to help the secondary

kuekly is a star and we possibly have a guy just as good as him at coverage and is likely faster him in shazier
quit BSing with dickies antiquated system and play your best players to their advantage

      its not the scheme.
      its the players and coaching
steelers = 3 ring circus with tomlin being the head clown

Now we are back to 'simplify the defense' again??

Don't know how much simpler Butler can make it.

]"Nah, we're going to be physical. We're going to come after people," said outside linebackers coach Joey Porter, who has a unique perspective on Butler because he played for him and now coaches alongside him. "That's why he puts us in a lot of tough situations (at practice), just to see how we're going to play. It's easy to go out there and blitz every other play. He wants it to be man-on-man, 'I'm not scheming you, I'm asking you to beat the person across from you; can you get it done for me?'
A coach can simplify a defense if they have superior talent to beat their man. But a simple defense with average talent is a recipe for disaster against a modern NFL QB. That's the problem the Steelers have right now.
