I've got a man crush on Sammie Coates

Dude looks like a TE, runs with serious speed and power. This guy is going to be special.
    Trolls are people too.

Agreed. Going to be a nice addition to the WR Corp.

I think we'll eventually have to choose Bryant over Wheaton, Coates can step in I think.

loved the pick then. And am extatic about him now.

Might ht be the best RAC wideout we have.

With his size, won't go down easy like brown, and (at times) Bryant seem to do.

Bryant seems to lack some good decisions in the open field. Could have had a TD I think if he takes his long gainer to the sideline. LB ahead of him would have had to change direction.

And on that 3rd and long in the 4th qr. If he cuts it upfield, he would have had a few more yards where it wouldn't have been a 52 yard FG.

He definitely made a case for more playing time. Darrius Heyward-Bey is a free agent...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Like Bryant, needs to be more consistent catching the ball and with route running, but great potential for sure. I'd like to see DHB come back, in part for special teams and in part because he's great depth at WR, but if he doesn't, looks like Coates can easily fill in as the #4, if not more.

If we can recoup a draft pick for Wheaton, I'd make a trade.

Ab. Tave. Coates #3. And hey 4 and play special teams.

Find a little slot guy to compete

I like him as well, and also a very high character man. I say we keep:

AB, Wheaton, Bryant, Coates, DHB (special team demon). One could say that's the best WR Corp in the NFL. The thing is Ben takes way too many sacks. Especially when the pressure is up the gut.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

You stick a #10 on the guy, a #14 on Btyant, and I think we see little difference. Hope he can play ST, because if he can he will slot into DHB's spot.

Also, although he had some issues with drops in college, he was outstanding at making tough, contested grabs, something some of receivers are not particularly good at. His ability to high-point the ball (what's that, Martavis?) may make him a good red-zone target next year.

We've heard Coates had trouble with drops in college but today he looked pretty good bringing the ball in. Where Bryant still seems to fight the ball even on some catches he makes.

If if he could get that part of the game down, he could be scAry.

PS. I hope AB doesn't play hardball in the offseason trying to get a negotiate a new deal. I think I see what the steelers would choose to do if they don't come to an agreement

bryant, Coates, Wheaton wouldn't be a bad trio. All 3 still in their rookie contract

                            AB goes down easy?

I don't see it, but I hope Coates becomes a good #3 to replace Wheaton. I've seen enough of him to know that he is no one worth losing any sleep over... a poorman's Manny Sanders. As for Coates, he is NO Martavis Bryant--Bryant has really amazing coordination and first-step quickness. He has inconsistent hands is all. Coates looks stiff and powerful (so I guess he is like a mini TE).
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

**** meant when he gets contacted. Not that it's easy to catch him.

Coates looks like he can break those arm tackles
