Wallace is a far cry from Pouncey as a pass blocker so that will improve for next season. Wallace doesn't have the quick feet to slide n pass block like we see from MP. Not to say Wallace didn't have a decent year but I'll be glad to have MP back protecting 7.

Coates looked huge to me. Eventually our biggest problem will be, what receivers can we afford to keep. With Bryant, Brown, Weaton, Coates, Jessie James, I still can't believe we struggle at times on offense to put up more points. I really thought we would torch opponents this season despite the injuries. I just thought we were that damn good on offense.

Bryant is a 50 yard play (rush or reception) waiting to happen at any time. You cannot give that up. He can fix his concentration problems on routes/catching. You can't teach someone what he has. I think we'd have to move on from Wheaton; Coates can fill in for him.

Yes, Bryant brings too much to the table to allow him to leave. If the Steelers feel Bryant can keep his head screwed on tight Bryant, can be the next big time Steeler receiver. I heard when the Steelers signed Coates, he was signed in case Bryant couldnt get his act together. Not too sure how true that is but, just listening to the fan when I heard that tidbit. I hope Bryant cant shake his luggage and become the great player we see in him.

Coates is a hard worker and an even better human being, from what I have read...

The fact that he was able to average 30+ yards per catch with limited touches (and draw an additional PI call for a 1st down) is great.
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Antonio, Martavis, and Sammie give you three options all with uniquely different body types from one another.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

No boubt we have the best WR group in the NFL...not even close. Get Pouncey back and you help solve the "up the gut" sack issue. Wallace was weak pass blocking...much better run blocking

You might think that just looking at the players but rewatch the Denver game. How many times did Roethlisberger have the time but the WRs were absolutely not open. Some of this I attribute to weak or sloppy route running, other to play design but at the end of the day it is the WR that needs to work to get open. AB seems not to have this problem. The other WRs need to learn this.

need to remember this was the #1 defense and they were healthy this time around.

The difference with AB is trust, Ben and AB have chemistry and Ben knows AB will make him look awesome more times than not when he throws it in his direction.

However, I think one of the reasons this offense didn't score more points when we needed them is due to focusing too much on AB.

I think we left a lot of plays on the field and the main reason is the lack of pass plays to our TE.

Totally agree about ignoring the TE way too much. I think it's a combination of Ben wanting to sling it down the field and the fact that Heath has become less reliable catching the ball and has zero ability anymore for YAC.
