Not sure why that didn't draw some sort of excessive celebration flag.

It was Burfcit's ME, ME, ME moment, that would foretell his desire to get in one last little shot on a defenseless Steeler, to satisfy his own (not his team's) goals.

Let me just add something here: Our guys, if they want to be high and mighty about Burfict/Pacman's antics, should hold themselves to the standard too. William Gay & company, after Gay scooped up Cam Thomas' ball, go on to carry on--KNOWING it gives away 15 yards to the other team. Why would you just give 15 yards so carelessly???

As soon as they started dancing, I said "here comes a flag".
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

Same here, Shoe. I'm yelling at the TV "Stop dancing", and the next second the goddam flag comes out. Still I wouldn't equate that stuff what Burfict and PacMan do. The dancing is stupid but does not stoop to their level of thuggery.

I thought they had run off the field with the ball. I was wondering about a delay of game penalty til I realized they don't have to be out there for the next play.

They thought incorrectly and a bit selfishly that the Steelers had a TD and thought the penalty would be enforced on the kickoff. In reality the yards backed them up from where cam was downed and really cost them.

Tomlin has been unwilling to take charge in this area, but he needs to clamp down on the celebrations. Go to the sideline and celebrate. Don't cost your team a chance to win. Leave that to the Bungles and their ilk.

Tomlins their buddy. Porters their buddy. They need a head coach that focuses upon all issues to make his team better or at least not giving penalties and yardage away because they want to act like it's party time.

You got some one in mind? Who would you fire Mike Tomlin for next week, or in the weeks after (when our season is over)?

Gay himself wasn't penalized for dancing. Dancing after a TD is not a penalty (as long as you don't use props). His teammates were penalized for joining him in the same dance. Choreographed celebrations involving multiple players in the end zone is what is outlawed.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Yeah, in that game, Tomlin was the coach who couldn't control his team...
