Are you kidding? In game celebrations where invented in the 70's and 80's, not only where they choreographed they even had names for the dances. There where so much celebrating going on that the NFL had to adjust its code of conduct policy.

I'm guessing he is asking when Steelers started dancing and posing.

I assume you are talking about the guy's throwing the flags that bring a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty with it. Or maybe the young selfish look at me generation can celebrate on the sideline where it brings no penalty. Just a thought

Despite your strong feelings to the contrary, I don't think a season-ending 15-yard penalty in one of these last games this year would only piss off the wheelchair-bound, Geritol-quaffing, Viagara-popping crowd. Even young whippersnappers would be moaning, don't you think?

How can someone think that letting the players "celebrate" in a way that risks penalties is acceptable? The rules, silly/unfair/etc. though they may be, are the rules. Until/unless they change ... just play the f*n game!

It seems to me that these celebrations take place when the outcome is no longer in question...not when the season can end with a 15 yard penalty...

Thank you, I missed watching the Ickey Shuffle (hated when he got to do it versus the Steelers, but still a classic), of course, him performing the encore performance in the commercial is even better. "We're gonna get some cold-cuts today" (as he spikes his cold-cuts).
