I assume you are talking about the guy's throwing the flags that bring a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty with it. Or maybe the young selfish look at me generation can celebrate on the sideline where it brings no penalty. Just a thought

Someone please find the Icky shuffle, the best celebration ever.
The "Fun Bunch" were good as well.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.Comment

No, I'm talking about people on this board.
The whole, back in my day we walked uphill to school in the snow crowd needs to let go of the revisionist history.
The NFL has celebrated celebrations for years,
Fans on hear re so old they forget what the 80's were actually like when it comes to celebrations.Steelers 27

Despite your strong feelings to the contrary, I don't think a season-ending 15-yard penalty in one of these last games this year would only piss off the wheelchair-bound, Geritol-quaffing, Viagara-popping crowd. Even young whippersnappers would be moaning, don't you think? No, I'm talking about people on this board.

How can someone think that letting the players "celebrate" in a way that risks penalties is acceptable? The rules, silly/unfair/etc. though they may be, are the rules. Until/unless they change ... just play the f*n game!

It isn't that they are called...it is that they are called unevenly...like Sunday, for example...Despite your strong feelings to the contrary, I don't think a season-ending 15-yard penalty in one of these last games this year would only piss off the wheelchair-bound, Geritol-quaffing, Viagara-popping crowd. BTW, what if it isn't a close game?
Like when AB flipped into the EZ vs. Cleveland?
Or when AB jumped on the goal post vs. Indy?
Or when Willie Gay iced the game in Cincinnati?
It seems to me that these celebrations take place when the outcome is no longer in question...not when the season can end with a 15 yard penalty...Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.Comment

Thank you, I missed watching the Ickey Shuffle (hated when he got to do it versus the Steelers, but still a classic), of course, him performing the encore performance in the commercial is even better. "We're gonna get some cold-cuts today" (as he spikes his cold-cuts).
