I just don't think they anticipated such a horrible day by the secondary...
Rawls had 21 rushing attempts too...

seriously, the D was bad on 3rd down and looked awful but those three 3 and outs in the second half were huge. If we didn't give the ball back so much I think we are talking about how the Steelers had the perfect game plan for Seattle.

I really don't care about yards. People complain how the Steelers gave up almost 1,000 yards passing over the last three weeks...which is terrible, I guess, but when you consider that the Steelers are 2-1 in those games, it provides some context.
I agree. Yards mean squat.... (see Steeler offense).... it's all about the scoring defense, which wasn't that good last week.

Another indication of the Steeler coaching staff getting too cute and not just going out and playing sound football.
And oh, the Steelers apparently decided to go to a Cover 3 scheme for most of this game... a defense that Seattle sees pretty much in every practice against their own defense....

What cover scheme would you have played that would have had us win considering we couldn't get a pass rush on the qb? Seam routes killed us. We need to play better up front and on the back end. We don't bump n run corners so we have limitations. OLB's got to put pressure on the Q in our system.

Oh, I'm sorry, your geniusness...so you're saying that you don't play a Cover 3 when you're concerned with stopping the run?
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Ben had 2 picks. The long ball that should have been PI on Marshall and the short ball to AB he tried pulling back WHEN HE SAW THE Seattle defender coming from the other side.

Landry had the int on the fake FG attempt and the one at the end of the game after replacing ben

Tomlin in is an idiot. He's only 5th on the all time list of most wins by the age of 44.

With any brains, he would be # 1 obviously

He just climbed up to 90. Yep, that just proves how overrated the coaches on that list are!!

That's easy to say, but an actual accomplishment is worth far more than any amount of your opinion. Whether you like it or not, Tomlin did it. If you want to believe that "anyone" could have done it, go ahead...but the fact remains that only Tomlin actually did it. I'll take the concrete proof of his worth (# of wins, Lombardi trophy) over any of the garbage you choose to litter on this board...
