sorry - was totally sarcasm filled... taking a guy cuz he's fast is very Raider-ish, regardless of what the speed is supposed to fix.

With a 5th rounder, you can take a chance if he runs fast - he's not likely to make the team, but, you hope you can turn him into Ike Taylor. With a 1st rounder, he better already be a solid football player and speed just happens to be one of his traits.

That was a relatively quiet performance from someone with 13 tackles.

Im more concerned with the pass play to the big fat full back which he got burned by. Missed the assignment which resulted in the big gain.
Similiar to the td given up vs. Denver.

Thats supposed to be the reason why we drafted him. His strong suit was To be able to cover these guys

I'm not going to criticize a guy credited with 13 tackles in a game (though it is a surprise)! And I also would like to know why Timmons seems to be the guy we rely on in coverage. I don't think it is because Timmons is particularly good in coverage.

I will say that our D, even after all these high recent draft picks (Heyward, Tuitt, Shazier, Dupree, Jones), we still lack that extra oomph. What we really lack--is an ass-kicker on our D like Harrison, Lloyd, Peezy. We did a borderline psycho.
