Wait how many threads are we going to start about haley being and idiot or fire tomlin......I would take Bruce Arians and a dose of Mendenhall all over again......(sarcasm) but seriously we have become so spoiled as a fan base.

Even with all the misfires I'll take the 38, but this should be more the norm, not the sputter and choke 20-point efforts we get a half dozen times a season.

Not last year, at least to the Steelers until Bell went out at the very end. They were completely incapable of overcoming that one loss. Prior to that, young, unimpressive LBs Jones and Shazier were the only injuries, but we had superior veteran backups in place.

That's my biggest fear - last year was the perfect storm of health and weak schedule, and we only went 11-5 and lost at home in the playoffs.

If that's the ceiling, the bar is set historically low for this organization.

honestly I prefer a banged up Ben that gets us deep into the playoffs over a healthy Ben who can't beat the Rats at home without Bell.

I don't care if you are built like Manute Bol or Yokozuna...if your knee gets hit like it did against the Rams, or your foot gets twisted like it did against the Raiders, you are going to be injured no matter what. In fact, we are damn lucky that neither one of those were season enders due to an ACL tear or Lis Franc, because both of those looked pretty nasty when they happened.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I think the medical staff is just guessing at this point. If the MRI was actually able to penetrate Bens fat knee it would most likely reveal a torn MCL, torn meniscus, and Coach Kleins stolen playbook.

Doctors were unable to locate a medulla oblongata on the CAT scan, but it did find all them teeth but no toothbrush, magical rays of sunshine that cheer you up when you are feeling blue, and, of course, a tattoo of Roy Orbison that mama didn't know about.

It's easy to play Monday morning QB...you know the hindsight 20/20 thing...but....

I was not a fan of our play calling after the blocked punt. We had a chance to perhaps put the Raiders away and instead we revert to turtle ball...New England would have attacked. Instead we ran on 1st and 2nd down. I don't remember the call on 3rd down. If I recall correctly we missed the FG on 4th down. The Raiders took over and scored a TD. That was a big point swing...

Also not a fan of the 3rd and short long balls...low percentage plays that more times than not are incomplete....get the 1st down and then take your shots...

Granted we had lots of yards but we left a lot of points on the field...Also a lot of the yardage resulted from the Raiders single covering AB...It doesn't take a rocket scientist to take advantage of that....
